Viscosity comparison

Our motor oils also may be differentiated due to their fluidity. In technical literature this parameter is also named viscosity. Thereby temperature is one of the key attributes for viscosity.

Viscosities can be measured and illustrated e.g. by using falling sphere viscometers.
Our web based, simplified visualisation demonstrates the characteristics of BIZOL motor oils at different temperature ranges.

Therefore we picked four different motor oils (Bizol Long Distance SAE 0W-30, Bizol Platin SAE 5W-40, Bizol Gold SAE 0W-40 und Bizol Silber SAE 15W-40) and three different temperatures (0°C, 40°C and 100°C) to compare.

By clicking the temperature controller as well as the oil selector different products can be compared at different temperature levels. After activating the start button the spheres will fall down and differences will become transparent.
